End of November Catch Up

I haven't blogged for awhile, but a couple of weeks ago I put these pictures on and never got around to posting them. So they are a little old, but Pete and I haven't changed too much since then, so I think I can still post them.
Uncle Mike shows off his tremendous strength, and I mean that, because I weigh a lot!
Petey, with his walker. We got rid of it now. He doesn't need that anymore. Peter's a walking pro now!

Petey is loving getting pulled by Aunt Shelly.

Our first snow, I was out shoveling. Now we have very little snow, and after today being 42 degrees, even less. I still have hopes of a white Christmas though.

Peter playing with one of our many tractors. This is a good one though, because he can pick it up by the handle and carry it around. He has become quite the transporter now that he can walk. Mom is finding stuff all over the place now!

Peter is testing out his new hat. Test for cuteness passed!

Endless fun with big boxes!

I turned this box into a big sleeping pad. Very comfy!

Petey, you have milk on your chin. Again!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

The day after Thanksgiving, we put our Christmas tree up. It was so exciting! Mom handed me the ornaments and I could put them anywhere I could reach. Conveniently for me, I placed them all on the same branch. Don't call me lazy!
Petey was trying to help too, but he mostly just got in the way. He is good at doing that!

Then we tried to pose for Christmas card photos, but it didn't turn out as well as Mom was hoping.

By the way, Happy birthday to Daddy! It was his birthday on the 25th! We love you Dad!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving at my Great Grandparent's house, and had a great meal! I am very thankful for turkey and rolls and pumpkin bars. Those were my favorite things. But I am most thankful for a really great family!

We played lots of hide-n-seek, my new favorite game.

Auntie Shelly fed Petey some yummy jello. Look at that big bite!

Petey's tummy was nice and full. Good cookin' Grandma and Grandpa!

The best thing to do after a big meal is relax! So I did just that with Grandpa!

A Walker with Teeth

News Update #1: Peter is officially a walker as of today. Actually as of 6 PM today. He has no more interest in crawling. Each time his butt hits the floor, he puts his hands down and pushes himself up again. Which explains his first eye gouching. He fell into the tv stand and has a tiny scratch on his eyebrow, nothing too serious, but enough to get a big wail out of him.

News Update #2: Peter has 2 top teeth, for a total of 4. I know he was a late bloomer when it comes to teeth, but in just the last 2 weeks the top 2 have broken through. Bring on the steaks for Pete! Oh wait, Petey already eats steak because he eats anything and everything! Teeth or no teeth! But at least now it will be easier for him. He is my hungry brother!

Last of Fall

We have had a great fall, and I know it is time to say goodbye, since we have snow on the ground now. But I did get one last fun fall day a couple weeks ago. My friend Caitlin came over and we jumped in leaves! Here I am getting my running start for the big jump!

Birthday Party #2

We had Great Grandma and Grandpa over on Wednesday, Peter's actual birthday. We had dinner and pie and Peter got to open up another present! But the best part about this day, was that they brought me a present too!!! I big John Deere Tractor! Peter got one too, but not as big as mine!
I think Peter and Grandpa were thinking the same thing when they both closed their eyes for the camera!

Peter likes his new tractor. We play with them everyday. Thanks for thinking of me too Grandpa and Grandma!

Peter's First Birthday Party

We had a birthday party for Peter at Grandma Gerard's house. I helped Peter open his presents. He got so many nice presents!

When Daddy told Petey to go hug everyone, I got up and did it for him! I was very happy with Pete's new presents too!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Radzak for this neat ball popper! We play with it everyday!

Jack was even playing with it- you can never be too old for fun toys!

I had to take a breather from all the action and laid down beside Emma in the bedroom. We had a little chat, and after a minute, I was good to go again.

Aunty Linda and the rest of the Hoekman gang gave Petey a tractor! One can never have too many tractors! Now he has his own to play with so he doesn't take mine anymore.

Time for the cake! We sang happy birthday and that made me really excited! Then I helped Peter blow out his candle.

Somehow while eating this yummy chocolate covered cupcake, I developed a sweet frosting mustache.

Just giving Peter a reassuring pat.

Peter started very cautiously eating the cupcake, with one finger only. But it soon turned into whole fisted cake going into his mouth, and all over his body. He was pretty serious throughout the whole thing until the end, when Grandma Radzak was acting silly to get him smiling.

Mom rushed him off for a quick bath. Thanks everyone for the gifts and coming to the party! I had a lot of fun and I know Petey did too, despite his icky cold!

Dad - "You can't have beer until You are a dad."
Luke - "I am a daddy."
Dad - "Oh you are, are you? Then where are your kids?"
Luke - "They're hiding..."

Petey Turns 1!!

Happy Birthday to Peter!! He is one year old today! We just got back from the doctors, and he is a BIG one year old. He weighs in at 24 lbs and is 31.5 inches tall. Which means he is big like me. But he has me beat by a full inch when I was that age. Pete is a champion eater which may explain why he is so big. Good job brother Peter!

This is also how he gets so big- he is a great sleeper too!

Trick or Treating

Halloween was so much fun this year! Daddy helped me put my costume on, and then we all went out trick or treating. I got a full bucketful of candy!

Petey was crawling around being a gorilla. He was pretty silly!

It was a very nice night for being outside. We had perfect costumes to keep us warm. I went up to everyones house and said "Trick or Treat" and "Thank you!"

Petey came along for the ride. He had fun watching all the kids and didn't fuss a single bit. He even got a couple suckers from some houses.

Looking at all my treasures when we got back home.

I think the suckers are my favorite. Peteys too!

Afterwards, we played with my new tractor Grandpa Gerard got me. I used the trailor for hauling Mommy's slippers around.
