The Fireplace

Ummm..
... who set me here, and can someone come get me?

Yay! Grandpa came to play with me!

Toys, Toys Everywhere!

I like my green tractor toy that Grandpa G got for me. It sings "Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer". I don't know if Grandma was for it, but it makes me laugh!

Even though I love all my new presents, you all could have just wrapped up a box filled with tissue paper and garland, and I'm pretty sure I would have been happy with that. But don't remember that for next year. I think my taste for paper and garland will change and I might not want to eat or play with it anymore by then!

Isn't it wonderful?? Thank you everyone for all the gifts. Some aren't included in the picture- it was hard to round up everything I got, but don't worry, I have them and I have been playing with them everyday!

ET

ET... phone home.

Thanksmass!

The Gerard family tradition is the combo celebration of Thanksgiving and Christmas, held in the middle of December with Grandma G's side of the family. We got together to feast and play. And to spice it up, the new Gerard Rockband was created!
Dad jamming out on the drums!
Jack singing lead vocals, and Uncle Justin and Aunt Jill on guitars.

There was a surprise visit by Santa Clause! His beard was fascinating! Perfect for tugging!

Me and Santa! Merry Christmas to all!

My family with Santa Clause! This was an extra special day!

Christmas at the Great Grandparents

We spent Christmas Day at Great Grandma and Grandpa's house. It was so much fun with all the people and presents and great food! Even though it was blizzarding out, lots of people still showed up, but we did miss the ones that couldn't make it due to the storm. We really had a White Christmas!!

I am very stylish in my velvet suit, courtesy of Jack (my older cousin).

Christmas morning I got to open some gifts from Santa! I didn't get much, but at least he didn't forget about me!

The best thing on the tree was the silver garland. The tree is down now- I miss getting my hands on it!

My First Sledding Adventure

The Christmas blizzard piled a foot of fresh snow by Christmas Eve morning, so we ventured out for my first sledding experience. It was close to freezing out, so I kept nice and warm in my snowsuit. My new favorite thing to do is sled!
Dad bringing me to the hill.

A minor bump on our way. Luckily I didn't slide out on this mini hill.

Daddy takes me for the first ride!

Here I go with Mommy and Uncle Jim! Even after getting white-washed, I was still happy to be outside!

Uncle Jimmy, getting stuck... again.

I had to take a break in the midst of all the sledding fun to make a snow angel!

And, naturally, Dad acted on the urge to bury me with snow.

Visit With Uncle Jim!

Hmm... Uncle Jim looks pretty tall. I wonder if he plays basketball.

I love my puppet polar bear from Uncle Jim. Especially when I get sleepy, it feels good to cuddle with him.

Thanks for visiting Uncle Jim! I can't wait to come visit you in sunny California!
