Happy Aniversary Mom and Dad!

My mom and dad have been married for 9 years!!! It's about time you guys finally decided to have babies! I know they have been 9 pretty good years, but I am certain this last year was the best ever, all thanks to me! I mean look at me, how cute am I???

Daddy got Mommy beautiful roses, as well as ice cream treats! A year ago, Mom and Dad spent their anniversary at the hospital, when they had to bring me back to cure my jaundice! Thank goodness I'm not orange anymore!!

I love Cake!

Cake Time!

Yummmmmm! Birthday cake!!

Want some???
Everything going very smoothly....

...until I try to make a break away! Mommy catches me and into the highchair I go. Daddy was right- he didn't think the floor was a very good idea like Mom did!

Ooff da! I am getting full!

All done!!! Or am I????

That's right! I got a second wind and went full force back into the cake!

This is so fun! Why can't I have cake everyday??

A bad case of chicken pox??? Nope! Just frosting! Although Mom has learned her lesson to not use red frosting for a baby in the future. FYI, I am not contagious! But my smile is!!!

To the bath we run!

Happy Birthday to Me!!

I am 1 year old now! I am such a big boy! Lots of people came to see me on my birthday. We had a taco bar with jello an fruit and cake! It was all so good! Thanks to all for coming to be with me on my first birthday!

Me with my Grandma Radzak.
Here's Mom with the great spread of food!

And me enjoying my birthday lunch!

It's present time! I got so many special gifts! Lots of cute summer clothes and some toys, and a handmade cross stitch from Grandma Gerard and handmade motorcycle rocker from my Grandpa Radzak. And I got a swing that Dad put up immediately in the front yard. I love them all!

Check out my cool ride!

Thanks Grandpa R!

Now me and Grandpa can go biking together!

Lutsen Trip

Last weekend Dad and Mom took me up to Lutsen Mountain. We stayed in the beautiful hotel there, and Daddy ran a 15 mile race on Saturday morning, totally kicking butt at 7th place out of 175 runners. Dad is a hard core trail runner, and so will I be, but finding the pool was much more important to me this visit. I am trying to escape from the room to start my fun swimming adventures. I did much better swimming this time. I was all smiles and even after Dad dunked me underwater, I didn't freak out or cry at all. Now Mom was a different story!

Come on Mom and Dad! Hurry up!!

Go Daddy!!

Fish

I can speak, you know. Yesterday, Dad held up a toy fish and asked me what it was. I looked at it and clearly responded, "fish." Mom and Dad were so happy. Like its a big deal or something. I have been talking, in my mind, for a long time now.

I'm a Scrabble Genius!

Last week Grandma came up to visit me for a whole 3 days. I got to spend lots of time with her. We went to the zoo, shopping, to yummy Olive Garden and Pizza Hut, and she even taught me how to play scrabble. Here I am helping her win the game!

Hmmm... I think I will go with that word.

Hee hee! Mommy and Daddy don't know what letter I have, but it is a good one! Me and Grandma are going to win!!

Peek- a- Boo

Sleepover!!!

Last weekend I went to a fun wedding and then my cousins came back to the house to sleep over. I had lots of fun in the morning climbing over each one, waking them up from there lovely slumber. I had to wait forever though! Grandma and Grandpa played with me upstairs quietly, since I awoke at 6:30, but finally Mommy brought me down at 7:40. They had enough sleep, and as my Grandpa R says, people die in their sleep you know!

The final stampede to wake my Aunt Linda! Luckily I am pretty cute, otherwise I don't think she would have a pretty smile on her face this early in the morning!

My New Hat

I found a great new hat up in the laundry pile. It is one of my washclothes, which looks very stylish on my head. It stayed on all the way from the bedroom to...

... the hallway...

...(had to stop to give myself props for keeping it balanced on my head for so long)...

...but finally it fell off back in the bedroom.
Have no fear, I found another one to put on my head!
The End!

More Playgroung Exploration

Last week Mom walked me to the playground a mile from our house. We had it all to ourselves, so I got to roam around and explore. I like the sand!

This is me after playing in the sand. The pebbles and sticks in the sand are very appealing, hence the dirty mouth.
